Entry Of Items

We do require a day’s notice of any goods being entered before the following auction. Goods will be accepted from Monday to Friday between 9am – 3pm. Any items entered
after our Tuesday auction will be placed into the following auction. Once items have been entered for the next auction they cannot be withdrawn prior to auction under any
circumstances. If you wish to enter items in our auction you must either come down and bring identification with you or fill out our online registration form and your item will be given a lot number. All items will be photographed with a brief description following ready to be presented in our online catalogue for all to see.

Public Viewing

The public can come and view our items from 12 – 4pm the day of the auction and all items must be thoroughly inspected before any bidding takes place as no warranty or guarantee is given.

Seller's Fees

Our selling commission rate is just 23% + VAT. You may be subject to a PAT testing fee of £3.50+ VAT per lot for any electrical goods. This means we will keep your goods safe and includes the photography and listing of your items. Any unsold items MUST be collected the following day of the Auction between the hours of 9am – 1pm. Any items that are not collected and are left on the premises will incur storage charges from the following day at £5 per day. Once the item has been sold and paid for, commission and any further agreed charges will be deducted and proceeds sent by cheque or bank transfer 5 days after the auction.

Terms & Conditions

We do not accept cheques, telephone or PayPal payments. All goods are sold as seen and all bids constitute a legally binding contract. BUYERS PLEASE NOTE. It is your responsibility as the bidder to establish whether your bid has been successful or not following a auction to make prompt payment, NW AUCTION cannot beheld responsible for contacting or chasing winning bidders in any instance.

‍PLEASE NOTE. Any damage to any item caused by viewing, inspection or any other reason will be considered as a sale to the viewer, This payment will be completed before vacating the auction room.

Whilst every effort will be made by the Auctioneers to Catalogue Goods accurately the Auctioneers shall not be liable to the Seller for any errors in the catalogue description and the Seller shall be liable to the Buyer for any errors in the catalogue description, whether or not such errors entitle the Buyer to rescind the sale under the Auctioneers Conditions of Sale.

The Auctioneers are authorised to disclose the name of the Seller in any description of the Goods in a sale catalogue unless the Seller gives to the Auctioneers written instructions not
to do so not later than seven days after the acceptance of the Goods for auction. The Goods shall be put up for sale without Reserve unless either the Auctioneers are notified by the Seller at least 24 hours prior to any sale of the Goods. We are entitled to set a minimum bid or fix a reserve price. If the reserve price is not met, you and us are released from any obligation to complete the transaction.
